JEWELRY CARE
A little love goes a long way! Please handle your piece with care as each piece is handmade with thin, delicate chains and pendants that can tarnish or tangle if mistreated.
Remove your jewelry when applying sprays, perfumes and lotions. Jewelry should also be removed when showering, exercising and swimming. All of these can be hard on jewelry and will speed up the aging process.
To keep your piece looking its best, you can occasionally gently rub the surface with a polishing cloth after every use.
When you’re not wearing your jewelry, be sure to store it in the velvet pouch it came in, a jewelry box or plastic bag. Storing it away from light and oxygen helps prevent tarnishing and oxidization.
Everybody’s unique skin oils react differently to certain metals and plating. We are not responsible for your skin's reaction to our products. Gold Plated, Gold Filled, Silver plated & Rhodium jewelry will turn naturally over time, and there is no way to reverse this. You can prolong the life of your Lavender and Grace pieces by following our care recommendations.
It is important to note that all our jewelry is 100% Nickel and Lead free!
JEWELRY MATERIALS
We work closely with our amazing manufacturers based in LA, California to ensure top quality. Once we receive the supplies, our pieces are all assembled by our team in Kelowna BC. (Most of our pieces are 14K Gold Filled, Sterling Silver & Rhodium)
GOLD FILLED:
A layer of Gold is bonded on top of a Sterling Silver, Rhodium or White Brass base. This is most ideal for jewelry you plan on wearing day to day. Filled pieces are hypoallergenic. We primarily carry 14K Gold Filled pieces.
Average lifetime: Can last years with proper care.
SOLID GOLD:
Our solid gold pieces are made of 14k Yellow Gold. These pieces are made to live in and will not oxidize or discolour. AKA can be your daily jewels.
Average lifetime: Can last generations with proper care.
RHODIUM:
When a layer of Rhodium is bonded on top of a White Brass base. You should remove Rhodium pieces for activities like showering, working out and sleeping. Rhodium pieces are hypoallergenic and is a great option if you are allergic to metals.
Average lifetime: This material is ideal if you don’t plan on wearing it on a day to day basis.
STERLING SILVER:
Made with 925 pure Sterling Silver. This is most ideal for jewelry you plan on wearing on a daily basis. Sterling Silver pieces are hypoallergenic - similar to our Gold Filled material and can be a great option if you are allergic to metals.

HERRINGBONE CHAINS:
The intricately woven chain on our Spencer Herringbone Chain, Spencer Luxe Herringbone Chain & Mini Spencer Herringbone Chain require extra care. We recommend that it be stored laying flat at all times. Be mindful when taking it on and off to not bend the chain. It should be removed before going to sleep, and doing any strenuous activities as we are unable to repair kinks and dents that may occur with regular wear.
RINGS:
Remove your rings when washing hands, applying sanitizer, sprays, perfumes and lotions etc. Our rings should also be removed when showering, exercising and swimming. All of these can be hard on jewelry and will speed up the aging process!
